Requirements for being in the top 10 1. Had to be a company voluntarily rated by a traveler 2. Have to have a website presence 3. Have to have one of the highest scores as of March 13th, 2008. 4. Score must be above 80%. 5. Agency must be ranked by at least 3 people or more to qualify. Over time, as more and more travelers rate their companies, the number of rankings will increase and so with the statistical significance of them. For the top ten results were determined by first looking at the number of ratings per company as the sample size. We took the median of ratings per company (which turned out to be 3) and used this as our minimum requirement for the number of ratings needed to be included in the top ten results. Thus, a company need to be rated by at least 3 people in order to be considered significant and qualify for the study. In time, more and more companies will qualify and more and more companies will be looking at these results to set or change their standards of practice to achieve higher ratings from their travelers. ____________________
