  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. I loved the ER and my coworkers. I found out I was pregnant while on assignment here (otherwise I would have re-upped). I was only with these people for 13 weeks, but they threw me a lovely baby shower and bought me the sweetest gifts. They were wonderful. They used Cerner which isn't my favorite. And the only negative thing I really have to say about their system is that they don't triage, they just take turns taking patients and you triage at bedside, you only skip your turn if you have four patients. So it doesn't account for acuity. You can draw two traumas, a stroke call and an MI. You don't know what you're getting until you're working it up. If you have a good charge nurse, it won't happen. But unfortunately the reason I was there was that one of the charge nurses was out having surgery so there was a lot of relief charge that just really didn't see big picture and you got screwed sometimes. But it was an equal opportunity luck of the draw screwing and it happened to regular staff too. I loved this hospital and these people and I would highly reccommend them. 07/19/2015
  • Housing was approximately 1-3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Motel 6 then La Quinta. Housing was located in city of Wenatchee . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. The Motel 6 was so unsafe. I had migrant workers knocking on my door asking me to come out and party at 3 in the morning. Most nights I was the only female at the hotel. A guy tried to force his way into my room once and threatening to throw the 24 pack of water in my arms through his windshield was the only way I got away safely. My company finally moved me to the La Quinta after weeks of begging and finally photo documentation of the unsafe conditions. Then my room got robbed at the La Quinta. They took $400 in cash, some make up and a pair of my shoes. A pair of my SHOES? Cmon people! Really?
