  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Did not have a bad experience here. Enjoyed the staff members I worked with. This facility can't keep their regular staff or travelers for that matter. Had adequate load in ICU...however when I was floated, was expected to take large volume of patients. Their overall management is awful. Very cookie cutter like. I once got interrogated for something another nurse did. Also tried to blame me for looking at who was in ER, even though I was never granted access to that option. They quickly shut up when they can't prove anything. But watch your back as there are those who like to accuse for nothing. Very short staffed hospital wide...but after you work there, it is easy to see why. They do not treat all travelers with respect. 12/01/2015
  • The name of the housing complex was my own. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. Small town. Nearest bigger cities to do anything are north, south or east. But if you are looking for stuff to do, hit the highway on your days off and go to Indianapolis, St. Louis or Chicago.
  • I worked in the medical/surgical department(s) in the hospital. This hospital was not traveler friendly at all. Their regular staff were angry and unhappy and treated travelers very poorly. Nurse manager was overheard telling charge nurse and nursing supervisor to keep an eye on the travelers cause "none of them can be trusted". Manager consistently makes errors on schedule and makes changes to schedule without talking to traveler. Staff REQUIRED to participate in OT. Frequent high acuity patients and very poor nurse to patient ratios. Unsafe staffing. Travelers frequently given heaviest assignments. Hospital has a big theft problem and doesn't provide lockers for staff or travelers to keep belongings safe. I had my drivers license, debit card and cash stolen and manager was notified and did nothing. My husband had to bring me gas money since my debit card was stolen and I didn't have enough gas to get home safe. Doctors make mistakes on patients and not very truthful with pt or their family.Went to manager about patient safety issue with a staff member, management did nothing to change staff members behavior. Nightly very poor staffing and frequently nurses have 8 high acuity patients and only on PCT, for 23 patients. 07/28/2015
  • Housing was approximately 65 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was provided my own housing. Housing was located in city of Bloomington. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Hospital did not provide any accommodations for travelers when weather was very dangerous.
