  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. The RN's were more accepting of travelers than the scrub techs, a few of which could be outright unfriendly. Most of the surgeons were easy to work with; there were 3 or 4 that were difficult. There is no dedicated housekeeping; the OR staff pitch in for room turnovers. Breaks and lunch relief were fair and on time. Management was easy to work with. 09/08/2016
  • Housing was approximately 6 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Private Home. Housing was located in city of Augusta. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Housing was in a historical district of Augusta in a house built in 1898. Updated but with a lot of character and charm. Owners lived next door and were very friendly and helpful. Agency found the house on Craigslist. Fully furnished including internet and WiFi but no linens. Only drawback: a single window A/C unit. Most of the time no problem but there were a few days that got hot and muggy.
  • I worked in the med/surg department(s) in the hospital. They take your mail open it and share it with other staff members and you never get your personal mail. Staff unfriendly. Give you the worst assignments. Make up lies about you. Treat travelers terribly. Very unprofessional staff on the unit. No cafeteria at night as it is closed. Parking you ride a shuttle into the hospital area. Must have their uniform colors which are solid apple green and black. Hard to find. Very rude to travelers. Housing is VERY expensive. 03/05/2016
  • Housing was approximately 13 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was None. Housing was located in city of None. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. Hard to find housing at a reasonable cost
  • I worked in the Med/Sirg department(s) in the hospital. Staff Very "Clicky" unfriendly. Opens your Mail from agency then shares contents with staff. Always get 1st admissions which will arrive during change of shift. No cafeteria during night shift. Parking way out have to use shuttle to get to entrance. Will not schedule you for holidays Just unfriendly staff Hard to find the colors of "Their" uniforms which have a dress code for 02/19/2016
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was not available expensive if you can find places to stay. Housing was located in city of unknown. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. Hospital offers no housing. Places around are VERY expensive
  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. It was crazy there. There was some staff that was very unfriendly and mean and not very helpful. Lots of backbiting and bad attitudes. People arent very welcoming of outsiders and even if you prove yourself they don't really accept you, unless they need something. Call is unsafe. If you're on call and work all night they usual k are so short the next day they have to keep you on. 01/27/2016
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Capri Apts. Housing was located in city of Augusta. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. The Capri apartments are OK if you're just staying anlittle while. They're fully furnished. They will charge you a full month rent at the end of your contract regardless of the day you move out. I was supposed to be there unilt jan 10th. Instead i moved my daughter, dog, and myslef in with a friend for the last 10 days we were there to avoid a full month of rent. I was in Maine for 9 months and learned quickly they don't do things like most other places. The fairway/axells Scandinavian inn talked me into paying a month at a time to "secure" my room. When I moved out two weeks early they kept the other 650 dollars.
