  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. Great place to work. Well staffed, friendly highly skilled doctors and nurses. great set up. Gets pretty busy in the summer. Traveled there a few years back under a different manager who was awesome, new manager is great to work with also and has kept this place a gem to travel to! Had a 3:1 and 4:1 patient to nurse ratio, super doable. Staff works great together. 08/06/2019
  • The name of the housing complex was my RV. Housing was located in city of Petoskey. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Charge Nurse was a bully, as known by all hospital staff but nothing Is done about it. She talks down to everyone. This hospital deals mostly with people going through detox but claim they have really sick patients and are level 2 trauma, only saw one trauma. Preferred to float to other floors and be out of the ICU. This contract made me stop traveling it was so bad. The Drs used their personal feelings as how they treated patients and not per medical treatment. Did not feel some knew what they were knowledgeable and didn’t feel patients taken care of well. Had a doctor tell me she didn’t believe In treating for certain conditions. The manager only spoke to me once the entire time I was there. The area is great but will never go back again. 08/29/2018
  • The name of the housing complex was None . Housing was located in city of Petoskey. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
  • I worked in the ICU med surg, onc department(s) in the hospital. There is a charge nurse who is a bully and intimidates travelers and new staff on purpose. She is not nice and if you don’t think she is great she treats you worse. The Drs are a joke. Telling someone they don’t believe in medications for a pt who needed them. Charge nurse made my days working so bad I was glad to float to another floor. Manager was not good at communication at all. Location is great but this is the worst hospital I e worked for and won’t consider going back. This assignment killed my desire to travel again. 08/14/2018
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Na. Housing was located in city of Harbor springs . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I found my own housing
  • I worked in the emergency department(s) in the hospital. I would definitely go back. I worked the night shift and there was a great team atmosphere and everyone was so very accepting to having a travel nurse. The staff is friendly and happy for the most part. I felt like I could give my patients the kind of care they deserved. The most patients I had at one time was five and three of them were fast track patients. I never felt overwhelmed and felt they had an amazing ancillary staff that focused on patient safety and staff support. The physicians were quick and friendly, some of the hardest working I've seen. The orientation was one full week (very informative) and then three precept days. The city is beautiful with views of Lake Michigan everywhere you go. There are many, many amazing restaurants to try! I almost want to keep this place a secret but I'll share the experience so others can enjoy it. 02/17/2016
