  • I worked in the Tele department(s) in the hospital. We loved working here! Plenty of help and fair caseloads. There are a few charge nurses who certainly treat you like a traveler, always getting the first admit, crappier assignment etc. One thing I will say is that the assignments are always divided evenly. Their supervisors and management definitely treat you like one of their own even when it comes to scheduling and accommodating any needs you may have. Dover it's self is kind of rundown but you are only an hour to Portland Maine, 30 minutes to Portsmouth, three hours to Burlington Vermont and 90 minutes to Boston so the location is excellent. There's plenty to do in the way of outdoor stuff as far as fishing and kayaking and hiking, the White Mountains are only 40 minutes away and beautiful. We would go back in a heartbeat. 10/13/2016
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was We found our own. Housing was located in city of Farmington . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Rochester, NH is a pit! We rented on Baxter Lake.
  • Way too much repetion of paperwork HIPPA HIV etc had to sit @ a computer for 2 days doing compentencies which seemed to be geared for ft staff not travellers. Techs have lot of control and authority allowed to circulate tend to try to undermine the nurses lot of complaints from new staff re this. Small OR with staff that have only worked @ WDH and very entrenched in their way of doing things. Do not have customized packs have to open everything individually Staff have to do the majority of lifting turning and moving pts and equipment no support staff except to do room turnover. Majority of the staff were traveller friendly people in charge were not around much except to make assignments and definitely tended to favor different staff members over other staff as well as travellers. Did require travellers to take call 1/wk and every 5th weekend meaning Fri nite -Mon am. Not a bad assignment but lots of small hospital issues and mentality going on but after 13 weeks can leave LOL
  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. The name of the housing complex was N/A. Housing was located in city of Dover. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. Housing is hard to find, Dover is small area I didn't take the housing. Couple of other travellers said their housing was okay no big apt complexes
