  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. I loved the staff I worked with here in the ED. I extended my contract due to the nightshift staff I worked with every shift (worked a total of 6 months here). They are short-staffed on nights, but the staff works very well together and has great teamwork. The staff is very accepting of travelers; 80% of the night shift was travelers. The providers are great to work with and are very friendly also. Some of them do full work-ups on every single patient regardless of chief complaint, which can be irritating at times. It is located in a smaller city, especially compared to where I come from. Not to much to do here in Florence, but all major cities (Charlotte, Columbia, Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Hilton Head) are a max of 3 hours away. 06/07/2016
  • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was The Reserve at Mill Creek. Housing was located in city of Florence. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. Pool, grilling area, allows pets, dog park, car wash station, fitness center, and business center are all included as amenities. You can get furnished apartment if needed. It is more expensive, but totally worth it. Entrance is gated with key card and in very safe location.
