  • I worked in the Neuro department(s) in the hospital. This was a county owned hospital that is now HCA Travelers float first. You can float multiple times during a shift. Depending on the floor depends on the ratio. Neuro 6:1 with restraints, Cardizem drip, tele and stroke scales going all on the small load. M/s tele 7:1 Ortho 6:1 pcu 5-6:1 cvpcu depends on patients 3-4:1 ccu depends on patients 2-3:1 cpiccu 1-2:1. Er is busy unsure of their ratios Local area is has drug and alcohol issues so lots of detox while in hospital. This was a county owned hospital that is now HCA. 02/19/2017
