  • I worked in the 2 North, 2 Central,ED hold department(s) in the hospital. Absolutely DO NOT WORK HERE. Management is disorganized, demeaning and awful to full time staff as well as travelers. The hospital itself is frequently understaffed and not having the items you need to work effectively is the norm. Carmen Hamilton and Dana Reynolds - the director and manager of 2 north, 2 central are the absolute worse. Carmen frequently harassed staff and speaks down to them, and has no issue texting you on your private cellphone about issues that should be confidential in group texts. The normal patient ratio is 7-1, and if you should need help don’t expect it. Both of them will cancel your contract and put you on the Do Not Use list for HCA hospitals for trivial issues, or if they don’t like you. The onboarding process took around 20 hours, and hospital orientation is a joke. The morale of the staff nurses is poor and the PCA’s are not expected to do their job and will frequently disappear or talk badly about you. 03/31/2018
