  • I worked in the Cardiac Cath Lab department(s) in the hospital. Was not allowed to make my schedule or pick my on call ti.es. Was on call every weekend and a minimum of 4 days a week. Routinely stayed til 8 or 9pm when was supposed to be off at 5:30pm. Scheduled for 7a to 5:30p. Management terrible. 04/13/2019

  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Recruited for ICU but spend most of the time being floated to PCU or Telemetry. Get called off at least once every other week. Refuses to pay call back pay even if in the contract. Agreed on 4:1 ratio when pulled to the floor but then tries to make you take up to 6 patients.Seen them cancelled contracts when travel nurses stand up for for the 4:1 ratio in contract 02/07/2017
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Island Reach . Housing was located in city of Boynton Beach . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. Washer and dryer was stack able and way too small
  • I worked in the labor and delivery department(s) in the hospital. This review is for Bethesda EAST. L&D unit very outdated with poor equipment, facilities, and outdated medical practices. Many doctors with poor attitudes and not up-to-date. Appalling pain control practices. Float to mom-baby gets you an assignment of 8 moms. Dangerous staffing, many staff nurses quitting. 09/27/2016

  • Great place to work, staff is wonderful and very accepting of travelers. Make sure you have a guarenteed contract signed though because when their season ends thats it! If you do not have a guarenteed contract with the hospital you do not get your hours. They will try to float you so be sure that you have in your contract the places you are willing to float to. I worked in the ER. My housing was 20 miles from the hospital in Pine Lakes RV Resort in West Palm Beach. I would rate it a 3. This RV park is closing in April of 2005 the next closest RV park is about 5 miles from this and is more expensive but also more modern and much nicer. If we had not paid for our entire 3 months up front we would have probably moved and dealt with the extra miles for the nicer surroundings.
