  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. Be prepared to take all the "frequent flyers" and patients with difficult family members. If you can't find the staff check the cafeteria, gift shop or outside. 98% of staff is PRN or travelers. Equipment is from the stone age. Do not always have radiology tech on duty that can do CT's with contrast so someone has to be called in delaying pt care. Nurse Manager and Medical director are bullies and both need to retire. Lots of patients are transferred out due this is a "critical access" hospital with no services and outdated equipment. 03/24/2018
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was private housing . Housing was located in city of Reedville, Va. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Not a lot of housing options if you want your own space but if you are a bed and breakfast kind of person you will have no problem. My host were excellent and I was right on the river with access to all of their toys. Pet friendly
