  • I worked in the Med Surgical department(s) in the hospital. I loved working here and everyone got along for the most part. Their was only was one incident with a charge Nurse that I didn't like how she spoke to me after I was trying to help another nurse, basically threaten my license. But she basically apologized afterwards. But my advice keep to yourself and you will be fine. This is a nice little hospital to work for, and it felt like I was on vacation compared to Level 1 trauma center. This is a critical access hospital which means there is no ICU, OB, Pediatric units here. But I feel this is a nice place to come to when you want to get away from the stress of the bigger hospitals. You actually have true quality healthcare here and Have time for your patients which is amazing. This maybe a little hospital but the patients love coming here vs going to Dartmouth Medical center which is the Level 1 trauma center. If you have a question they will always help you. They used Epic charting system which I loved using. Parking is never a problem here. Housing is hard to find in this area and its more expensive. But if you Use the Fireside Inn and Suites Hotel they give travel nurses a discount for long term stays. They reason I only stayed for 4 months was because I didn't want to be in the cold weather or snow. 8/25/19 09/08/2019
  • Housing was approximately 8 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Hotel/furnished finders. Housing was located in city of West Lebanon. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I used furnished finders and used a hotel the 4 month into my contract. I first stayed in Plymouth, NH in condo which was 1 hour from hospital which was less expensive but a pain since I had to drive highway 118 which was basically going up and down a mountain to go to work. I lost network connection. But West Lebanon was closer to everything and had AC.
