  • I worked in the Icu and pacu department(s) in the hospital. In the ICU you will be tripled all the time and you will float to imc. Their anest is not good and only one intensivist was good. The other wanted abgs daily on non vented and all patients. In the pacu anest is not very good which makes it hard and surgeons def talk down or blame nurses for anything 09/12/2019
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was N/a. Housing was located in city of Arlington. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. A lot of traffic
  • I worked in the Labor and Delivery department(s) in the hospital. The rest of the hospital may be ok but had a charge nurse that come 9PM she got her blanket and went to sleep in a birthing room and loaded the travelers up on patients. This has been 5 + years ago so it could be different. Was only 5 mins from DC, lots to do. Lots of places to eat. Fun area to be in. Was very cold the winter I was there and snowed quite a bit. 10/10/2017
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Unk.. Housing was located in city of Alexandria, VA. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. The apt was close but do not remember the name. Keep your windows shut if you are on the ground floor. Had someone try to get into my apt one night and heard a lady screaming to get off my balcony. Had a alarm turned on. It was a gated community.
  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. Hospital had several travelers and local agency staff. The per diem agency staff made things difficult for the travelers. Core staff were great, other travelers were great. I was grateful it was a short contract. 08/11/2017
  • Housing was approximately 25 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was hotel . Housing was located in city of Shawneee. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. No apartments or reasonable hotels around. There are a couple of RV parks if you have an RV
  • I worked in the O.R. department(s) in the hospital. 12/06/2014
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Landmark. Housing was located in city of Alexandria . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Safe
  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. This hospital system uses lots of travelers. The ER is still using paper to chart. The physicians are friendly with the nurses. Patients aren't typically held in the ER after admission longer than two hours. Took the Metro into DC a lot. 20 minute ride. Lots of free stuff to do. Stayed in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria, 12 minutes from hospital, very suburban and nice. 12/24/2006
  • Housing was approximately 7 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Archstone Sussex. Housing was located in city of Alexandria/Kingstowne. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Housing was nicer than expected. Gas fireplace. Separate indoor laundry room. One bedroom apt has one bathroom separate from bedroom but has vanity area in bedroom including mirror and sink. Perfect for two or for visitors.
