  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Beautiful area. Paradise, really. Visit beaches from Naples to Sarasota. Breathtaking sunsets. Tins of art shows, frstivals, flea markets...multiple huge events going on every weekend. Amazing hiking, biking (check out sanibel island on tour bicycle!), kayaking...paradise, really. I love my time here. Will be back for a 3rd season in November. 05/19/2016
  • Housing was approximately 13 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Private home. Housing was located in city of Ft. Myers. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Housing can be tricky, because it is "season," and all property owners want top dollar for their rentals. Lee Memorial Health System doesn't provide housing to travelers, but they do provide bonuses and monthly stipends to help offset the cost of housing. If you can travel with a buddy and split housing expenses, you're golden.
  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. 08/30/2015
  • Housing was approximately 6 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was The Landings (private rental). Housing was located in city of Ft Myers. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
  • I worked in the Telemetry/PCU department(s) in the hospital. Travel Friendly! I actually extended my contract w/ them. The area is not bad at all but if you're looking for things to do it is in Fort Myers. I stay in Fort Myers where most of the travelers are placed. There are several hospitals here that are part of Lee Memorial Health System which is Cape Coral Hospital is a part of. Charting is computerized except for MAR's and part of Admission Database. I work in Med-tele and can get up to 7 pts. More progressive area I believe is up to 5/6 that is 7p-7a. 7a-7p up to 6 in my floor. Need to pass PBDS. 08/18/2007
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Venetian Palms. Housing was located in city of Fort Myers. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Laundry at the site. Gym. Pool. <1 mi Bell Tower mall/Theater. Have to cross the bridge to work. Several hospitals within 5 mi here in Fort Myers, part of Lee Memorial Health System.
