  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. This hospital was a great place for first travel assignment. The staff was very nice and willing to teach you what is going on. The biggest issues I had were with the doctors and overall management. They did not have a hospitalist or pulmonologist, and the vents and very sick patients were under the care of a primary care physician. The other doctors weren't much help either, sometimes getting angry for reporting critical labs at night. Staff morale was also low due to the CNO and CEO, as they never seemed to care about the staffs issues. Overall it was fine place to work, I just feel bad for staff nurses once all the travelers leave. The surrounding area was good, several nice hikes 1-2 hours away. Lake Havasu 1.5 hours away, Flagstaff 3 hours away. 03/23/2021
  • Housing was approximately 20 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was AirBNB. Housing was located in city of Bullhead City. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. The housing was great. It was easy to find since Bullhead City and Fort Mohave are seasonal towns, so there is a lot of cheap and short term options.
  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. Great hospital! Welcoming staff. Cafeteria hours were poor/food mediocre. Good doctors. 11/11/2007
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Parowan Condos. Housing was located in city of Parowan, UT. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Parowan is a small town (2000 people). Beautiful area, LOTS of outdoor recreation (Brice Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Kolob Canyon, etc). Highly recommended!!!!! Condo was fully furnished including Dish TV, linens-everything. Great accommodations!
