  • I worked in the labor & delivery department(s) in the hospital. The midwives that practice at this hospital are very good and manage most of the patients. There is always an OB MD at the hospital, on call for any consultation or emergent problems. Anesthesia is in house and women get pain management within 5-15 minutes. This is a very nice hospital to work as traveler. The management is somewhat lacking and continues to be a work in progress. They have a staff nurse acting as managerial help, who is thwared by RN CEO and Unit Clinical Nurse Specialist. 07/13/2012
  • Housing was approximately 4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Newport Commons. Housing was located in city of Lititz. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Awesome place that allowed my Golden Retriever. Had walking trails, pool, exercise room at office building and was in beautiful Amish/Mennonite farming areas. Felt very homey in small town historical America.
