  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Decent Hospital. It's old, building is old, technology is old. Lots of double rooms on the floors. Float semi often (would probably float a lot more except there are so many travelers on each ICU that you take turns- you can float to ICU and "step down" room- it only has 4 beds.) Other nurses are very nice and tend to be outgoing and inclusive which is nice. ICUs don't usually keep their patient care techs so you're responsible for everything, but other nurses tend to be pretty helpful. Patient acuity isn't very high even with the hospital being a level 1 trauma- those really only go to the trauma ICU. 01/13/2019
