  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. Working in the Emergency Department at Valley Hospital is dangerous for your license. I had an 8:1 ratio in a "fast track" area that included patients with abdominal pain, chest, pain, ect. There was no tech to answer the phone. No tech to assist patients to the bathroom or place patients on monitors while you are assisting another patient. PLEASE, DO NOT SIGN ON WITH THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU VALUE YOUR NEVADA LICENSE. 07/03/2014
  • Housing was approximately 4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was I did my own housing. Housing was located in city of Las Vegas. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. I provided my own housing through Talemed, as they only gave me names of places to stay. I do not recommend Talemed as a good company to work for.
  • I worked in the IMC department(s) in the hospital. My one night of orientation on the floor was focused on how to avoid getting written up. No one stands up for anyone and the nurses are treated like dirt. 02/16/2014
