  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. Poor teamwork, unorganized, terrible management in the ER,, travelers are not treated equally as staff, very often no breaks given, majority of the hospital is very dirty. Dubuque is a decent town in itself, however I would never ever recommend this assignment to any other nurse or healthcare employee. 06/12/2017
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was N/a. Housing was located in city of N/a. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. N/a
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. Great hospital in a great area! Awesome staff who treated me as a team member from day 1! Staff always available for questions/guidance and always receptive to my input/ideas. Well lit, spacious (and free!) parking garage for both visitors and staff. Dubuque is a nice city with lots of shopping and restaurants as well as tourist activities. I always felt safe while there. I really didn't want to leave - extension offered but timing was too late and I had accepted another offer by then. I would go back to Finley in a heart beat (pun intended)!! 10/23/2014
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Quality Inn. Housing was located in city of Dubuque. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Quality Inn works very hard to meet the needs of nurses, especially night shifters! Clean, modern rooms with refrigerator and microwave. Also give a great extended stay rate. Nice free continental breakfast included. Could use a bigger parking lot.
  • I worked in the Resource pool department(s) in the hospital. I was accepted as a part of the team upon walking in the doors and it never changed. My opinions and concerns mattered and was included in everything. Clean hospital, welcoming friendly staff, great city. Hated to leave. 08/28/2014
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was With a coworker. Housing was located in city of Dubuque. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. The first week I was there a coworker invited me to move in with her. Great decision for both of us. Temporary housing here is difficult to find as I was staying at the best western.
