When is the Right Time for a Traveling Nurse to Travel?

No matter what your age, nobody can tell you when it is the right time for you to travel. You have to travel when the time is right. Just think about the zillions of people out there each leading different and exciting lives. It is overwhelming to think about.

If you are not traveling yet, ask yourself what you are waiting for. If you can’t think of an answer, you better start packing. You could be missing the opportunity of a life time. This year could be entirely different than the year before. As a matter a fact, every 3 months of your life can be different when you travel.

If you know what you are waiting for, consider how valid it is. Are you waiting for life to stop happening first? Do you want to be financially stable first even though you haven’t been that way all your life? Are you still waiting to see if the guy next door is ever going to ask you out? Some of us are famous for coming up with obstacles when we are nervous about making a change. Only about 1/5 of the people who are interested in traveling are actually doing it.

Granted some of you have valid reasons such as waiting for your son or daughter to go off to college or to gain enough experience to travel. How much experience is enough? Travel agencies will send you traveling with 1 to 2 years experience.

I am not being asked to promote traveling. I am trying to give all those out there who are interested in traveling a kick in the ..........you know what. It is a new year and anything is possible. Do I think traveling is for everyone? No! But do I think everyone should try traveling if possible? Yes! You might like it. Am I a little bias? Maybe!
