  • I worked in the Surgery department(s) in the hospital. The hospital is in a verybad part if town. Lots of gang activity and shootings. Employees were attacked in the parking deck. People live in outlying towns. I lived in prattville which I loved. Next to Hobby Lobby. 12/27/2018
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was The Park. (Great place). Housing was located in city of Prattville. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Gym, laundry if you needed it, pool, a really nice pond, super, super nice people. They make you feel like family. You can have packages dropped off at the office and pick them up instead of them going back to the post office or UPS or FedEx. Screened-in porches what you're really nice because I'm allergic to mosquitoes but I like to go outside and the screened-in porch is really big. Walking distance to Hobby Lobby Kohl's, Outback, Panera Bread, Five Below, Krispy Kreme is not walking distance but if you're going to go get one you might as well walk, Walmart right down the road. Bass Pro really close. The apartment complex is off the road it's quiet. The only issue I had was the people that lived upstairs were really loud and sometimes we could hear them jumping around upstairs but that was just minor.
  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. It was a very traveler friendly place. The area it is located has a high volu.e of violence but while working the hospital has a security system in place for nights that put you at ease. the ED is very busy most of the time. The only downfall I seem to have is there techs get away with doing very little. I'm at a campground that is close and not a good part of town but have my husband along for protection can't speak of the other options. 03/10/2016
  • Housing was approximately 3.3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was RV woods. Housing was located in city of montgomery. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. the campground is nice but just outside of it is utter chops with panhandlers as soon as you go out the gate.
  • I worked in the medsurg 3N department(s) in the hospital. The computers were down on a regular basis. Great place for people with a don't-give-a-**** attitude. Techs hide and sleep while nurses answer call lights on night shift. Back-to-back admissions are the norm if you don't have your six patients to start with. Doctors are commonly allowed to talk to the nurses like they are stray dogs. 01/29/2016
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Valu Place. Housing was located in city of Montgomery. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. Valu Place was an extended stay type place. Not fancy but livable. Stay away from Home Towne Suites located behind ValuPlace; it was the most nasty place that I have ever stayed.
  • I worked in the ortho/med surg department(s) in the hospital. The places to stay on Carmichael Rd are in a good area and well priced. 08/12/2015
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Value Pkace. Housing was located in city of Montgomery . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Very clean NO BUGS friendly staff treats you like family. Kitchenettes.
