  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. Everyone in the OR was really welcoming to me when I started as a traveler. They just give you one day orientation in the OR and then its either sink or swim. If it wasn't for another traveler that was here when I started to help fill in the cracks, I prolly would have struggled for weeks. The other nurses and techs I worked with were great! Formed many great relationships. Management likes to micromanage but I just stayed out of their way and all was well...did my job and went home. A lot of new people started while I was here so lots of orienting going on. They are also working on building new ORs to open in 2019 and making updates to SPD, etc. Cafeteria was ok. I packed lunch most days. I would recommend this place if you are able to handle the micromanaging of management. That was really the only issue I had. If you take call...expect to be called in. For a level 3 hospital...they are busy 04/26/2018

  • I worked in the cath lab department(s) in the hospital. micromanaged place who most days did q cases. freaked out when had one case to do. staff (except 2 new people) would not speak to you, did ACC papers all day. • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. The normal ratio seems to be 3:1. Some days it's really hard to take care of patients the way they deserve to be taken care of. Onsite pharmacist, RT. Tubing system is great. 20 bed unit; lots of walking due to inefficiencies. Most everyone was friendly. Would come back again. 08/31/2015
