  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. The staff are extremely lazy, I think they would do anything to get out of doing anything at all. This is absolutely no teamwork, the permenent staff are happy to sit back and let you get your butt handed to you(travelers). Some of the nurses there have no business being nurses at all, they are condescending to patients and other nurses. No matter how hard you work, they always find something wrong with how you do things (not having time to stock rooms when slammed). No wonder this facility has to hire travelers...they run everyone off. I started with several full time employees and by the time I left, they had put in their resignations also, because they felt this was not the place for them. It’s sad to know the patients of this area have to be treated with disrespect because these nurses feel they don’t owe them any type of respect or compassion!! Over it, moved on, happy to be away from that hell hole!!! 10/13/2017
  • Housing was approximately NA mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was NA. Housing was located in city of NA. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Found alternative housing.
  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. Run, do not work here!!! I was a travel nurse in ED, it is very unsafe. The other staff are all about themselves and lazy!!! It is constant drama with staff members. They will put travelers in charge even if they have no experience. Manager does nothing about the problem staff and allows them to do what they want.I would never recommend working in this ED!!! 02/01/2017
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Residence Inn. Housing was located in city of Columbia. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. This hospital is in a bad neighborhood.
  • I worked in the 5 heart tele department(s) in the hospital. This was the worse hospital I have worked at. There is no teamwork, employees are all about themselves. They will walk past a peeping machine to tell the nurse it's peeping (lazy). They are more concerned with their cell phones then patient care. Magmt does not back their employees. Although they have a bunch of travelers they crap on them with work loads. They wear seal blue uniforms. U do alot of CNA work b/c of laziness. The area is beautiful especially the congaree river trails. Blythewood is where I stayed outside of Columbia nice and quiet. It was only 15 mile drive. The summer months are extremely hot and humid. 10/15/2015
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Enclave Blythewood . Housing was located in city of Blythewood . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Housing was great non-furnished however there is a furniture rental company in columbia that has great rates. And they offer packages. Power bill was about 80/mth. They allow pets with a pet deposit I had 2 cats. Just make sure they do a walk through with u before and after they tried to charge me for my bed and TV removal I was renting b/c they came in before it was actually picked up. They also tried to charge me for vertical blinds that were already briken. But this was all resolved b/c I had paperwork. The grounds are pretty and the pool was always clean and not crowded.
