  • I worked in the pediatrics department(s) in the hospital. Housing can be difficult to arrange, but the city is wonderful and the hospital is awesome. I would recommend anyone to come here. It is extremely traveler friendly. 02/19/2017
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was n/a. Housing was located in city of Madison. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
  • I worked in the Inpatient PACU department(s) in the hospital. The bad-Parking is 90.00/month and 1 mile from the facility. Which of course they not tell you. Even though I asked. They want you to bike, walk or take the bus into work. The "staff that runs the department" are passive aggressive and bullies. The charge nurse has no leadership skills and cannot speak to anyone in a polite tone. Lots of doubling. It's a teaching facility so way too many hands in the plan of care. Too many people giving contradicting orders. Housing is outrageously expensive and almost non existent for a short term rental. No charting by exception. Micro managing and reviewing of everyone's charting. The good-relief for lunch breaks. Paid dinner breaks with relief. No call for travelers. Madison is small so not too much driving. The Extended Stay was nice, close and safe. It's actually a bargain. The Docs are nice and easy to get in touch with. Lots of big cases, I learned quite a bit. Staff nurses are all very knowledgable. 10/18/2016
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Extended Stay. Housing was located in city of Madison . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. Pool, workout room, coffee and grab and go breakfast included
  • I worked in the NICU department(s) in the hospital. I received a very nice welcoming gift from the staff, including a card signed by all the nurses here. That was where the welcome ended. From the first day here, I understood that I was a traveler and not a part of the staff. I felt like the floats that came in felt very much the same way. People were just not welcoming or interested in getting to know you. The patient population is older, chronic kids or those just needing a procedure, like a g tube. No real preemies or little ones here and few vents. I will not be returning to this facility. 06/02/2016
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Arbor Hills Apartments. Housing was located in city of Madison. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. Old complex in a bad neighborhood. The hallways smell, air conditioning is not adequate to cool the units and there is a porn shop right next door. It is ghetto and nasty!
  • I worked in the ER department(s) in the hospital. Very expensive area, hospital disappointing quality compared to reputation 01/01/2016
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was stayed with friend. Housing was located in city of Madison. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. very expensive housing
