  • I worked in the Med/Surg department(s) in the hospital. I was hired to work a medicine/observation unit with flexed medicine patients while repairs were being made on medicine units. I worked very few actual shifts on the unit I was initially hired for. More often, I was floated to medicine units throughout the hospital. There are no PCTs after 11pm on medicine units and you could regularly find yourself with a 7:1 ratio. Travelers are everywhere and they are treated horribly. Many travelers that I started with were fired within the first month, often due to bogus or false allegations. They are extremely disorganized, have an old version of Epic, and there is little to no support from management. The regular staff nurses hate working for this hospital. I constantly felt as if my license was at risk and would never work in this hospital again. 11/30/2018

  • I worked in the ICU Float department(s) in the hospital. Great place to work! Great hospital/clientele. Some ICU areas (post-CV) staffing ratios were not safe. 04/08/2016
