  • I worked in the L&D department(s) in the hospital. Lots of floating until they develop confidence with your skills. Morale is low. Lots of opportunity for growth however, respects your input to make the department better. Great interdisciplinary care teamwork. Expect your acuity/GASP level to be higher than all the staff, please, please, please calculate your acuity as soon as possible and document it so that you can show the discrepancies. Great Nurse Education for Travelers, could be a great place to work with the right staff personalities. 05/23/2019
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Friend's house. Housing was located in city of Sacramento. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. Housing was in Elk Grove, did feel it was safer than being closer to hospital. Orientation not traveler oriented. Only received 4 hours of computer training, whenever I oriented on the floor my Epic ID did not work. Another traveler actually gave me the information, education coordinator later contacted me about login after orientation was over. I was not able to actually chart until I was on my own. Did not let travelers take high acuity assignments, mostly did their rapid care area. No overtime allowed. Not allowed to swap days even if the swap was even. 02/27/2018
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Lake Point. Housing was located in city of Elk Grove. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Slow to fix things, enjoyed having own washer/dryer but they where slow to fix the washer. Otherwise housing was fine.
  • I worked in the Perinatal department(s) in the hospital. The MDs and Midwives are superb! Just be prepared to have 12-15 patients a shift at any given moment. And almost At the end of your shift breaks. Some of the staff not very helpful nor friendly. Team morale is low on L 08/27/2016
  • Housing was approximately 20 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Friend's house. Housing was located in city of Lodi. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Friend's house.
