  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. The staff here have been very welcoming. I extended my time twice because I enjoy working with them. OR managers are very hands-on picking up call and helping out in rooms. Surgeons and residents have been very complimentary. I’ve felt incredibly appreciated here. 02/08/2020
  • Housing was approximately 38 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was My house. I’m a local. . Housing was located in city of Harrisburg . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. This was a local contract for me. I stayed with my family.
  • I worked in the ED department(s) in the hospital. Support staff such as techs and aides unwilling to assist travelers. No communication between staff with regards to patient care. No control in dept by management, basically a free for all. If someone didn't want to do something then it just didn't get done. Doctors discharged patients prematurely in an effort to reduce waiting room times to make facility appear better.(actually told this by an attending there). Management was like a mythical unicorn, never met the manager or saw her. Staff is improperly trained to function in an ED or perhaps not enough experience as nurses to properly function in ED setting, patients triaged inappropriately. Travelers get dumped on repeatedly there. 13 weeks and received 1 lunch break while staff always got lunch breaks. Was told to just go to lunch and not wait for relief, was told patients would be fine while I was gone. (Needless to say I didn't take the chance). Stay away from this place, there are better hospitals out there to work for. 09/05/2016
