  • I worked in the Medsurg department(s) in the hospital. Worst charting system ever. Travelers routinely get more patients than staff and get worst patients. Lazy staff that sit at the desk while you're running the halls. Old hospital with old equipment. Inadequate orientation then they expect you to know 100's of policies they never even show you how to find and can't find themselves. No Pyxis, they have med carts like a nursing home. 05/02/2017
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was agency. Housing was located in city of Eureka. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3.
  • I worked in the labor and delivery department(s) in the hospital. Very small hospital in small town. Super friendly staff, manager has worked as an ED nurse in the big city of Minneapolis before coming to Monticello so very smart and skillful, although not a labor nurse. She offered me to go with her during a code blue in the ED to learn if I wanted. As a labor/pp nurse, I am not really involved with code blues, doesn't happen much on our units, but I declined. Now I wish I did go with her since I need ACLS at my new assignment. Very friendly doctors for a private facility, just 2 of them. Very friendly staff that are soooo interested in talking about you because they genuinely want to know! MN nice. LOL. 02/02/2017
  • Housing was approximately 49 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was my own home 1 hour away. Housing was located in city of East Bethel. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
  • I worked in the Emergency Department department(s) in the hospital. Travelers BEWARE! Companies are pulling travelers out. This place is so short staffed it is unsafe. Also there is an emergency room physician there harassing nurses, and demands not to look at them so manager will pull certain staff to areas they have never worked. These nurses do not even know him. It is the most unprofessional and dirtiest place I have ever worked. Imagine being in a war zone. They are losing all their permanent staff, and what is sad is the permanent staff feel so helpless and are really nice, but have terrible management. I was told if they speak up, they lose their job. I have watched them get rid of atleast 3 travelers that did nothing to deserve it over this one doctor even after reporting harassment to management and HR. 10/04/2016
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was hotel. Housing was located in city of Arcata. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Be careful when you book hotels. Some of them are so nasty and reek of weed and urine. Read all the reviews first.
