  • I worked in the MICU department(s) in the hospital. 12/30/2020
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Airbnb. Housing was located in city of Nashville. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Worked an 8 wk contract 10/20-12/20. The staff were all very nice and welcoming and other floor nurses tried to help if we were overwhelmed. We were overwhelmed all the time though. The staff morale was very poor by the end of the contract and over 20 staff members had already put their notice in due to poor management. Staffing ratios were already 3:1 and they had plans to move to 4:1 once we left. They do not use aid and usually have 1 unit sec. For all the the ICU depts. Their covid response could be considered criminal. No room was negative pressure. The doors wouldn't even shut in their covid ICU. Halfway through the contract they provided expired N95s and when asked, we were told that was just a manufacturers recommendation. Very unsafe facility, for the patients and staff.
  • I worked in the Neuro ICU department(s) in the hospital. I LOVE this place as a traveler. The staff was very grateful and appreciative of the help they received from travelers. The manager personally contacted me to ask if the days she wanted me to work would be okay with me and my schedule. She also began the contract asking if I preferred block days so I could travel home to visit family resulting in every 2 weeks having 5-6 days free. Overtime was always welcome and appreciated. 11/10/2016
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Nashville KOA. Housing was located in city of Nashville. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. Nashville KOA was okay. It has a shuttle for $10/per person round trip that takes you downtown which was nice. In the summer I would rate it higher, but for fall/winter there are no trees, no fire pits to burn. It's just "ok."
  • I worked in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) department(s) in the hospital. Unit is very traveler friendly. I have been here a month, and still have yet to float to another unit. Patient assignments are fair. Supply room is well stocked. Good teamwork overall. The only thing I don't like is Meditech (charting system); it's outdated and not very user friendly. So far, this has been a great travel assignment 10/19/2016
