  • I worked in the Operating room department(s) in the hospital. Telephone interview not honest r/t amount scheduled on call, "late days", and back up call (all in the same week). "On call" pay only given if you are able to clock out for 30 min. This is not possible, as schedule is consistently and intentionally overbooked, so the nurse is unable to leave until ALL cases are done. This excess time is listed by hosp as "holdover time", and paid at regular hourly rate. My agent was as shocked as I, but said we could not do anything about it. There is also more pressure for case turnover than anywhere else I have worked, yet far fewer ancillary staff to help accomplish room turnover. Extremely demanding management, yet highly inefficient. This place is so bad, after only two weeks there I gave them a four-week notice (mandatory notice to avoid agency penalty), cutting my 13 week contract to just over six weeks of hell. Awful! 12/11/2016
  • Housing was approximately 12 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Have an RV. Housing was located in city of Aiken. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
