  • I worked in the Cardiac Stepdown department(s) in the hospital. I worked there a couple of years ago, but thought I would start writing reviews of the hospitals I have worked at. Anyway, I was floated sometimes 2-3 times per week to Cardiac tele or Neuro tele where the patient ratio was 1:8. The cardiac stepdown was 1:4-5. It was very busy and very understaffed. There was often not enough time to chart or even eat a lunch. It was my worst assignment in the now 6 years of traveling. Orientation wasn't great either. The people I worked with then were nice but so busy themselves they couldn't really help. Even the charge nurses took a full load. I only stayed because it is a beautiful part of Florida. 01/06/2020
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Adventine apartments in Boynton Beach. Housing was located in city of Boynton Beach. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2. Housing was amazing, private 1 bedroom apartment with private gate, large pool, fitness center. It was also expensive (through travelers haven).
  • I worked in the MedTele department(s) in the hospital. MedTele unit is very busy. CNAs do not help, they are extremely lazy. Night shift charge do not help, they let you drown. Unit can not get or keep enough full time staff. Night shift is 8:1. Day shift is 6:1. Delray is a for profit hospital so Administration does not care about staff or patients. Hospital is a trauma center so trauma experience is good for resume. Only work on step down units if traveling. 06/09/2017
  • Housing was approximately 1 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was No housing. Housing was located in city of No housing . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Use own housing
