  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. The whole time I was here, I was extremely worried about losing my license. They have 1st year residents covering the ICU at night, and there is basically no chain of command in place. The unit is probably 75% travelers, and they are continuously losing permanent staff. As a traveler, you are expected to be there and do what you are told without questioning anything. I have never seen a facility in which the doctors, managers, and nurses were less concerned with the safety and even lives of their patients. Working at this facility, I was constantly in an ethical dilemma... feeling as if the best thing I could have done for my patients was inform their families to take them elsewhere. 02/21/2019
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was apartments. Housing was located in city of west hartford. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
