  • I worked in the PACU department(s) in the hospital. Cleanliness/Sterility issues. Basically break every JHACO rule. Oxygen tanks standing in random spots, oxygen tanks being dragged across the floor. Questionable practices. 09/24/2020
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Hawthorne Gates. Housing was located in city of Sandy Springs . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Short term lease, unfurnished, allows pets
  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. I have never been at a hospital that was over 50% travelers. In the evening, I think only one RN was staff and 1-2 CSTs. The only fault/frustration I experienced was in finding equipment for a case. It got better by the time I left (6 months) but still was an issue about once a week (3x12h shifts). It was great working with almost all travelers. It separates CV into its own section. Ortho and spine is down stairs in a separate OR with its own staff, holding and PACU. 06/20/2019
  • Housing was approximately 20 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Stone Mountain Campground . Housing was located in city of Stone Mountain . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. I choose this site as I live in a motorhome while in assignment
  • I worked in the Main surgery department(s) in the hospital. My time at Emory St. Joes was very memorable. I know we don’t typically go to work to make friends but I made a lot of great friends in just 6 short months. I have been scrubbing a very long time and I expanded my knowledge my time here. I was accepted by 98% of the staff and that 98% was always very helpful and willing to point me in the right direction. Overall it was a great experience! 06/05/2019
  • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Airbnb. Housing was located in city of Brookhaven. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I stayed in a room in a house of a nurse I worked with.
