  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. Worked in the OR department at Surgery Center. No weekend 10/21/2019
  • Housing was approximately 3 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was private- airbnb. Housing was located in city of Tacoma. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I found my own housing through airbnb.
  • I worked in the med/surg/tele department(s) in the hospital. I'm on med/surg 8th floor. A small 2 pod, 17 pt unit. I was told this was a new floor and I needed ACLS because I would have a lot of tele patients. Turns out the previous pt's moved to a different floor, and these pods were now being used for pt's waiting placement. No ED admits, only transfers waiting D/C, mostly private rooms. It essentially feels like a LTAC (not at all what I was expecting). Most days are easy & boring, w/ occasional excitement. It's been staffed 100% w/ travel nurses, but they have now started to hire core staff. Definitely has been nice for a break, but not ideal long term. 07/06/2019
  • Housing was approximately 4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Northpoint Apartments. Housing was located in city of Tacoma. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. Rated poorly due to management, but they've always fixed rent issues for me. Pool, gym, TV&game room, dog parks, etc.
