  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. The hospital itself is very busy with high acuity and receives lots of transfers. The staff have been very welcoming, but be ready to hit the ground running with trauma and critical care patients. The area is cute, quiet, not a whole lot going on in the city and people say there are some not-so-safe areas but I've never once felt unsafe. Lots of good food! 01/17/2020
  • Housing was approximately 4 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Nottingham Apartments. Housing was located in city of Alexandria. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. Cutest little apartment complex and Stacy in the front office is super sweet. I feel safe, have a carport parking included in my rent, and the furniture is pretty nice. The only bad thing I have to say about it is there is no in-unit washer/dryer, but they provide a few buildings of community washers and dryers throughout the complex. The complex is gated and very close to everything in the city. As an added bonus, right across the street is a super cute cupcake/coffee shop.
