  • I worked in the Med Surg Tele department(s) in the hospital. Very unorganized with anything to do with travel nurses. 04/28/2020
  • Housing was approximately 13 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Private. Housing was located in city of Roseville . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
  • I worked in the Mother baby department(s) in the hospital. Horrible, no support and no input on schedule 11/13/2019
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was my own . Housing was located in city of outside . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
  • I worked in the mother baby department(s) in the hospital. there are bullies who harass travelers, support staff such as CNA refuse to help travelers with work, first to admit, carrying the heaviest assignment daily. Cannot schedule or provide any input often being scheduled to work many days in a row with no regard to health. 08/24/2019
  • Housing was approximately 2 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was private housing . Housing was located in city of Anaheim . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. none
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. I worked a 13 week contract at this hospital in the ICU and I was ready to leave here by week 4. I can count on one hand the amount of times I was actually in the ICU taking critical patients. The manager did not allow me to screen the hospital beforehand to ask about the assignment (floating). I was floated to a non-tele med-surg floor that the ICU manages (or lack there of). I was floated midshift to other floors throughout the hospital constantly and was always given the bottom of the barrel schedule. Kaiser SR is adamant about labeling who is traveler and who is not. The ICU staff is kind and great to work with, however this does not matter due to the lack of time I spent there. On the floor, there are many nurses who would rather find ways to get out of doing their job rather than efficiently perform their duties. I would definitely not recommend taking an assignment here unless you are willing to float and are here for the money. 03/19/2017
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was vacation rental. Housing was located in city of Forestville. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5.
  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. This was the most professional group of people I have worked with as a traveler. No complaining or talking about each other behind backs. Excellent communication between the manager and staff as well as good follow up with issues brought to the managers attention. It was a pleasure to work with this staff. And Santa Rosa has a lot to offer if you enjoy the outdoors! 10/20/2016
  • Housing was approximately 6 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was craigslist. Housing was located in city of Santa Rosa. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. I use Craigslist and find a room and bathroom. Roommate was excellent. Pets and frequent screaming grand child visits not so great lol. But the price made it all okay.
  • I worked in the floated all department(s) in the hospital. Worst Hosptial Ever!!! 09/14/2015
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was got my own . Housing was located in city of clayton . On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. The worst Hospital I have ever worked at and I can tolerate alot but this is the Worst Ever. Be more worried about your license than anything else. They don't care about the patients only care about politics and the pt. suffers big time. Staff LAZY.
  • I worked in the OR department(s) in the hospital. Very disorganized and unfriendly to travelers. They think travers are paid to much and taking over their perm. job. Ridiculous! You have to walk a half mile from parking to the hospital. The schedule for your shifts are crazy! 7-3p, 3-11p, 9-5p, 11-7p all rotating everyday of the week plus call. You don't know if you're coming or going. 08/09/2015
  • Housing was approximately 8 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Comfort Inn. Housing was located in city of Santa Rosa. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. Cost was 2,200 a month way too expensive for me!!!
  • I worked in the Emergency department(s) in the hospital. Overall I would not recommend this facility to any traveler. My biggest complaint was the doctors. They have the mentality that you work for them and have temper tantrums over the silliest things. In addition, they will do full workups on everyone. You could be a 15 yo with chest pain and you will get the same workup an 85 yo would get. And if that wasn't bad enough, they love putting in a few orders at a time. For instance, they order blood, IV and fluids, then when you sit down to chart it, there are more med orders. This continues throughout the pt visit. They also love to give you 3 new pts at one time, and good luck because the staff is busy socializing at the desk, so work fast! The charge nurse is a worthless position here, where a lazy nurse who has worked there for the past 30 years sits, and actually not sure what she does really. But she is really good at warming that seat! The only good thing about Kaiser is you will get 3 breaks a shift! However, not worth the headache. If this has not scared you away and you chose to work here, dont live in Panorama City, lots of shootings and stabbings. 06/02/2014
  • Housing was approximately 15 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Archstone Glendale. Housing was located in city of Glendale. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4. I did like the housing provided, it was clean and had a pool and fitness room. The only downfall is Glendale is where a lot of families live so not really a hopping area.
  • I worked in the telemetry department(s) in the hospital. The staff there are miserable so in turn make your stay there miserable. Its total care nursing they have CNA's but they don't do anything (vitals, baths, toileting etc...) apparently its not in their "job description" 08/25/2013
  • Housing was approximately 10 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was don't remember. Housing was located in city of san leandro. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. Would score it a zero if I could...it was a dump! witnessed countless drug deals in the parking garage or in the middle of the complex. Neighborhood awful!
  • I worked in the telemetry department(s) in the hospital. 04/29/2013
  • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Renaissance Apartments. Housing was located in city of santa rosa. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2.

  • not much punch as far as scenery to look out on from the balconey but tidy. If your looking to rescue a cat this is the place, lots of strays.
  • I worked in the Labor & Delivery department(s) in the hospital. Loved this place! Stayed for 4 contracts. They were so nice to me, everybody is so helpful. The L&D staff was great. They were so helpful, whenever I had problems, there was always someone available to help. The management of the department was superior. They were there to back you up at every opportunity. I was there for Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years twice, and had invites to other nurses homes for holiday meals and to be a part of their holiday celebration. Loved this place. Would love to go back! 05/09/2012
  • Housing was approximately 1.5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was arranged my own housing. Stayed in an apartment complex in Santa Rosa.. Housing was located in city of Santa Rosa. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 3. I always choose to do my own housing, as I feel that I come out better financially when doing it that way. There were tons of available housing in Santa Rosa when I was living there, and I think you could have had almost any type of housing that you desired.
  • I worked in the or department(s) in the hospital. 02/19/2011
  • Housing was approximately 12 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was Point Loma Yacht Club Condos. Housing was located in city of Point Loma. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 4.
  • I worked in the L&D department(s) in the hospital. I have never been treated so poorly nor degraded as much as I have in this facility. The staff immediately has a chip on their shoulder and dont even give you a fighting chance from the start. To insult to injury, their leadership reflects their unproffesionalism, poor work ethic, and lack of integrity. In this dept. its not "Patients First" its "Nurse First". 11/07/2010
