- Was offered a contract, told it is company policy not to put the offer in writing. Went over it verbally 3 xs. When contract came not the same at all by 2,000 a month. Recruiter lied, contacted CEO. Very disrespectful and exploitative towards the nurse. You are used and duped 100%. Stay away. 01/10/2014
- Contracts never pay >30 per hour. Housing is pushed to traveler to take stipend and limited corporate housing. Insurance is expensive but good. No guaranteed hour contracts. Housing and per diem stipend is deducted if you are sick or cancelled by facility from your pay. Not honest bout hospital reputation with travelers. Not supportive if you get sick or have an emergency. 10/27/2013
- I have been a travel nurse for one year, I started out working the registry for health one and then changed over to traveling, overall I have had a good experience, my only complaint is they do not have enough positions available. It has taken 4-5 weeks to find another contract between jobs. unfortunately I have to find another agency that has more positions available to me. 06/12/2012
- I have worked for 8 or 9 different agencies, and this one is THE BEST! My recruiter was responsive, courteous, honest, hard working, and always accessible! Twice they experinced problems with the direct deposit of paychecks. I had a call from my recruiter by 8:00 AM on the morning of payday to inform my there had been a problem, but they were hand delivering deposits to national banks and sending wire transfers to smaller local banks, so that every nurse would get her pay check by Noon of payday! No complaints at all!!! They were always there for me when I had a problem. I worked 9 contracts with them and NEVER had a problem! Would still be working for them, but they are mainly a West Coast company with most of their assignments on the west coast. I am from the midwest, and since my spouse does not travel with me, he wanted me to come home for a year. Am counting the days till I can go back to the West coast and work for Health One again! 05/09/2012
