  • I worked in the IMC Float Pool department(s) in the hospital. Traveler Friendly, staff seemed overwhelmed but workload was fine/nothing crazy TBH, and I would consider becoming perm staff. EPIC charting. Doctors are easy to get a hold of because its a teaching facility. Lots to do in the area especially during the spring/summer - tourist season - but everything quiets down during the fall/winter. 01/02/2019
    • Housing was approximately 5 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was I rented a room. Housing was located in city of Chesapeake. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. I rented a room from a military couple which was in a newly built area in Chesapeake - check your flood zones. During the last hurricane season this was an issue especially with the hospital and knowing your zone. So when looking for housing check your flood zones. The hospital will make accommodations for just staff who live in flood zone A.
  • Housing was approximately 12 mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was CANDLEWOOD SUITES. Housing was located in city of VIRGINA BEACH. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 5. 01/18/2013
    • CANT GO WRONG WITH IHG PROPERTIES, FREE CABLE, FREE INTERNET, FREE LAUNDRY, FREE GYM,WONDERFUL STAFF. DIDNT LOSE POWER WHEN SANDIE CAME TO TOWN. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING YOU MIGHT EVER NEED.
