  • I worked in the m/s department(s) in the hospital. The Nsg supervisors were not helpful at night. The unit staff hated their job and each other . Horrible place to work !!! Do Not go here !!!!! 06/05/2015
    • Housing was approximately n/a mile(s) from the hospital. The name of the housing complex was n/a. Housing was located in city of n/a. On a scale from 1 to 5, I would rate it a 1. I drove from my home , which was an hr drive to the hospital . Sometimes I got a hotel.
  • I worked in the ICU department(s) in the hospital. I had the opportunity to work at this facility very briefly. I experienced unprofessional behavior the very first day on the job. Nursing staff rude, and their overall morale and satisfaction with hospital sucked. Many of the nurses complaining about the job and the lack of decent management. Some staff members not aggressive regarding patient care. Statement made based upon code situation with patients and the slow response and care given. The manager is not fit to be the manager, in fact she inherited the job because her husband was the previous manager. Very small closed mind environment. Several travelers abandoned their assignments before the contract end date. One particular day a charge nurse was escorted off the unit and drug tested, and made to leave the facility. The acting manager was on the unit and she told the other nurses about this situation. Totally unprofessional and violation of confidentiality. I would tell any travel nurse to beware and stay clear of this place. Only positive thing about this hospital was the patients. 12/30/2014

Housing is pricey for such a small quaint town. Approx. 1 hour from Birmingham. Local hotels mostly available.
  • I worked in the Float department(s) in the hospital. I was warned to avoid this hospital but I didn't. The orientation was about 4 hours and not any computer training. The computer is like the very first version of EMR ever created. Horrible doesn't accurately describe how bad. 8 patients 3 discharges two admits. Stay away. 11/20/2014
