Thanks to the 70 traveling nurses that responded to our survey, we can see what a traveler nurse is making out there. Looking at the latest poll results for 2008, it look like over half the travelers (61%) are making anywhere from 27 to 38 dollars an hour with another 20% making more than 40 dollars an hour. This doesn't include all the extra pay they get for their housing and travel expenses. Not to mention the tax benefits.
