When traveling around, many nurses contemplate the concept of dating while on the road. While, there are definite differences amongst men in different states, overall men are a dime a dozen. These slight differences however lead to a different way of dating in each area.

One nurse was working in a hospital in Austin, Texas. She noticed that men there were more assertive in asking her out. However, when living in Arizona beforehand, men would be more indirect with their intentions to date her. Because of these differences, one nurse was interested in seeing if these generalizations hold true with others in the healthcare profession.

One travel nurse based in Philadelphia mentioned that men there were traditional, charming and colorful. There is a large Jewish population in the nearby area. With three distinct sects of the religions, it’s important to discuss religion before getting serious with someone of this religion. Often times, it is disrespectful to their elders to date someone that isn’t of their faith. To avoid harm beforehand, have this discussion from the start.
